Membership Types and Prices

The CSSE has several membership categories designed to meet your individual needs. One year association membership rates are indicated below. Tax rates are based on your province of residence.

Regular Member - $205.00 + GST/HST
For members that are currently employed in Occupational Health and Environmental Safety.

Student Member - $50.00 +GST/HST
Non-voting category applicable to students who have graduated in an OHSE program in the past two years and/or are currently enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis in an OSHE program at a recognized school, college or university. To qualify students must not be employed on a full-time or part-time basis, as a OSHE specialist or involved in the education, enforcement, administration or monitoring of occupational health and safety. Students must provide proof of studies (i.e. photocopy of recent transcript or student card) with membership application.

Associate Member - $205.00 + GST/HST
Non-voting category for individuals who provide products and services to the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety profession or who cooperate with the profession.

Retired Member - $65.00 + GST/HST
Is a CSSE member who has retired from gainful employment in the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety profession and not currently working in a consulting capacity.

Professional Member - $205.00 + GST/HST
Professional members are existing Regular Members who are qualified to work in the Health, Safety and/or Environmental field and have worked in that capacity for a period of 5 years or more. A separate application process applies.

International Member - $85.00 + GST/HST
A non-voting category for members employed in the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety professional that reside outside Canada.
