Dan has worked in the safety profession for over 19 years. For the last 14 years, he has been the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for Clow Canada. His position has him travelling through Canada and United States as an internal auditor for his sister companies. Dan has worked as a safety coordinator for several shutdowns and long-term projects and has worked both, as a Paramedic and as a Journey Man Steel Fabricator / Welder in the past.

Dan obtained Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation in 2009. He is the chair for the Regional Screening committee with the BCRSP and serves as a brand ambassador for them. Dan also obtained Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) from the CSSE in 2012. Dan has been a member of the CSSE and the ASSP since 2007. He is currently on the CSSE Board of Directors as the past Chair.

Dan lives in Saint John with his wife and daughter.
