There are a variety of accreditation standards out there against which to measure an organization’s health and safety effectiveness—ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001—and the latest one, CSA Z1000. What can the Health and Safety Professional do to apply the most appropriate ones for his or her organization?
Smart-ISO is a practical toolkit that you can use to come to terms with management systems within a department, a division, or a company in all its guises—quality, safety, environment, accountability and more.
What does the program do?
Through a series of comprehensive questions, this program helps you look objectively at your organization—or the organization that you are consulting for. The questions will identify gaps against recognized management standards: CSA Z1000, ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
The program then outlines ways to fill the identified gaps and—if you want to go that far—helps you to prepare for a certification audit.
