HSE Advisor, Fort Hills Oilsands
Sterling Crane requires two individuals to fill the position of HSE Advisor on rotation of fourteen on fourteen off to work on the Suncor Fort Hills/Sunlake Construction Project. These are hourly paid positions reporting to the Oilsands HSE Manager with an additional reporting relationship to the Site Manager. The selected individuals will have a passion for safety, excellent mentoring skills and be a catalyst for change.
Competitive candidates will have strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills. Candidates must have three to five years related experience with heavy construction and heavy equipment in Oil Refinery Plants. Preferred candidates will have an OH&S certificate, a CRSP or NCSO designation or a related designation, along with field experience in a safety related role.
These positions are fly in/out via Edmonton or Calgary only with camp accommodation provided. The HSE Advisor will work closely with our Site Manager, Supervisors and operations personnel to meet or exceed AB OHS, our Client’s and Sterling Crane’s HSE expectations.
