This month's topic: "Industrial Hygiene Sampling Strategies"

Presenters: Jeff Mallany, TELUS Sourcing Solutions

One challenge of the Health and Safety Professionals is responding to requests from their employers to recommend or approve Occupational or Industrial Hygiene sampling strategies. Depending on their educational and professional background, H&S professionals may have limited experience with the issue, sampling techniques or the interpretation of results. This discussion will provide the audience with an overview of occupational hygiene sampling techniques and sampling strategies intermixed with some stories from the field.

With an educational background in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph and Masters Degrees in both Indoor Air Quality and Occupational Hygiene from the University of Guelph and UBC respectively, Jeff is an Occupational Hygiene subject matter expert for TELUS Sourcing Solutions Occupational Health and Safety Program.

Please plan to attend this session to share in the discussions and to meet other health and safety professionals.

Please RSVP to David Lindeman at 905-546-2424 ext 5657or david.lindeman@hamilton.ca
