This breakfast session is to assist those responsible for health and safety regarding appropriate asbestos testing methods and laboratory support. It presents options for materials testing and air sampling and offers tips for interpretation of results.

The seminar discusses certain precautions when taking samples of bulk materials and the recommended procedure for the safe handling of potentially hazardous bulk samples. It includes demonstrations of the more common testing and analytical methods and equipment, and concludes with a tour of the Pinchin NVLAP accredited laboratory.
