    CSSE offers seven courses at discounted rates to members.     CSSE's 31 Chapters hold monthly meetings to network with their peers, and to exchange information on matters of common interest.

  • Society News in CSSE Contact
    CSSE's own newsletter, CSSE Contact, is published four times a year and provided to members-in-good-standing, and is also available to non-members at an annual subscription rate of $100.00, plus applicable taxes.   • Career Depot
    The CSSE Career Depot is located in the Public Area of the website and is where resumes and job postings for Health & Safety Professionals are listed. Both CSSE Members and the public who are actively engaged in the field can access the current career opportunities; only CSSE Members can make use of the free resume posting service. In addition, members are offered discounted advertising rates for listing job opportunities; for full details including rates, please visit the Career Depot page. To have your resume listed with the Society, please use our online form to submit your resume.

  • Discounts on CCOHS Products
    All CSSE members-in-good-standing qualify for a 10% discount to all products and services offered by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS). Visit the CCOHS website at www.ccohs.ca.

  • Hotel Discounts
    The CSSE in partnership with Hotel Management International offers hotel discounts to all CSSE members. To take advantage of these rates, please login to: HMI Corporate Rate Program. CSSE members will find the access code in the "Links" section in the Members Only area of the CSSE website.

  • Free COS Magazine
    All CSSE members-in-good-standing qualify for a free subscription to Canadian Occupational Safety Magazine.

  • U.S. Trends in Professional Safety Magazine
    Through a special arrangement between CSSE and ASSE, CSSE members may subscribe to Professional Safety at the ASSE Member rate of $17.50 (U.S. funds). Prepayment required.

  • Group Billing Program
    A group-invoice, discount program for organizations that have more than five employees who are members or want to be members of CSSE. By paying CSSE membership fees for the employees registered in the group billing plan, the organization will receive a discount on the overall cost of membership for these employees. All employees registered in the organization's group billing plan will have individual membership in CSSE. Participation of at least 5 to 9 members will allow each member of the group to enjoy a 5% reduction off their membership dues. Participation of 10 or more members will allow each member to enjoy a 10% reduction off their membership dues.

  • Are you currently studying to become an Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Practitioner? A Student Membership in the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering will introduce you to a network of individuals in the same profession and provide you with an opportunity to extend and expand your learning experience.     • Meet OH&S leaders in your community/region by attending chapter meetings.

    Eligibility Criteria for Student Membership:

    • Students who are currently enrolled on a full-time basis in an OSHE program at a recognized school, college or university and are not employed, on a full-time or part-time basis, as a OSHE specialist or involved in the education, enforcement, administration or monitoring of occupational health and safety.
    • Those seeking student membership with the CSSE must provide proof of studies (i.e. photocopy of recent transcript or student card) with membership application.

    Please note that Student Members are non-voting members of the Society.
